Before Heath became known as the vampire lord Gangrel, he & his real wife Luna traveled with many wrestling organizations to wrestle. When that faithful day in 1998 came, many WWE fans already knew who Gangrel was. It might be the newcomers theathrical entrances to the ring, where he enters the stage filled with fire carrying a goblet, and when he gets to the apron drinks from the goblet, and spews out blood! Or it just might have been his creepy, yet knarly image that potrayed him as a gothic vampire. Whatever it was it sure had the WWE wanting more from this mysterious figure.

Right after he entered the WWE, Gangrel began feuding with Edge. This rivalry would continue, untill one day Gangrel hired Edges " brother", Christian to assist in the rivalry. The tables would completely turn, when Gangrel was set to take on Kane in a 1-1 match, untill Christian interfered, and later came Edge! Thats what started the new 3-man friendship as they built up their own tag team called " The Brood."

The Brood were in my oppinion, one of the greater tag teams in the WWE at the time, and although they didnt razzle me with their title history, The Brood always entertained. Their entrance started out with fire, as the three began marching towards the ring all cool, and ready. The Brood, would later join the Ministry of Darkness under Undertaker, Viscera, Mideon, Paul Bearer, & The Acolytes. They would spend some time together, untill The Brood eventually left, and were brutally attacked. Rumour had it that Gangrel was jealous of Edge's popularity, so he used his patented impaler on Edge breaking up the group. When Gangrel fought Edge in a blood bath match, all was clear what Christian thought about Gangrel. As Gangrel was set to use the impaler once again, Christian came from nowhere and attacked Gangrel. Then Gangrel wanted to re-unite The Brood, by adding the Hardy Boyz, but his sexual encounters with Terri concluded in the second, and last breakup of The Brood.

Gangrel decided to team up with an old friend, and lover his wife, Luna. The two would temporarily be a WWE team, untill her backstage antics cost her career in the WWE. Since then Gangrel has spent more time pleasing the crowd with his surreal entrances, and crazy personality. Although he has never won a championchip title in the WWE, he has still accomplished much for the wrestling world, creating a dark, and amazing gimmick known as Gangrel!
