Short Summary-
Not much is known about the mysterious character of Gangrel, aka David Heath. But what many fans in the WWE know is that
Gangrel is one of the most coolest, and "out-there" gimmicks in all of wrestling. Combining his dark, gothic, vampire attire
along with a goblet full of blood, and a fiery ring entrance, it adds up to a lot of excitement.When he first joined
the WWE, he immediately started a harsh rivalry between Edge. The two would become heated rivals untill Gangrel added a second
character, Christian ( Edge's brother ). Things would completely change, when one day Gangrel was set to take the Big Red
Machine, Kane as Christian, and then Edge interfered. Thus starting a new friendship, which became known as The Brood.
The Brood were a very unorthodox group, lead by Gangrel, The Brood became one of the most liked tag teams of all
time. Later the Ministry of Darkness, led by Undertaker himself attacked The Brood, and forced them to join the group. What
Undertaker wanted to do was take over the WWE, and he needed as much manpower as he could get. Eventually the Brood would
break from the gruop, after Taker wanted to use Christian's body as a sacrifice. The Brood would also temporarily break up,
when Gangrel once again feuded with Edge, as this time Christian was defending his brother.The Brood got back together once
again, this time with 2 new faces, the Hardy Boyz. The new relationship didnt last too long, as Gangrel's sexual encounters
with Terri broke up the group for the last time.
Gangrel decided to group up with an old, and beloved teamate, his wife, Luna Vachon. Together the two were the scariest,
and oddest couple in the WWE. Sadly Luna's backstage antics got her fired, and Gangrel's continous injuries made him out of
the WWE roster for more than 4 years. Over the next four years, gangrel began recovering, and wrestling in federations all
across the world, along with his wife Luna.
Finally in early 2005, Gangrel came back to the WWE, along with Viscera to reform the Ministry of Darkness. It would
only last for a couple of weeks, but I realized once again, that Gangrel was back to his old form. Although not in the WWE
roster, I wish the best for Gangrel in the future, and hope he can always live on the great vampire image of Gangrel!
